An alternative to chili, this tasty taco chili is a family favorite. Make it mild or hot. It is high in fiber and protein. So tasty, they will be coming back for more!

Looking for an easy recipe that can serve a large group inexpensively? This meal can be made for about $12.00 a pot, even cheaper if you are a bargain shopper. Tasty Taco Chili is a fast and easy recipe that can be ready in about 1 1/2 hours. It is loaded with beans and ground beef making it high in fiber and protein. This colorful chili is bursting with flavor. Topped with cheese and sour cream, this dish is a surefire hit!

Tasty Taco Chili is a hearty meal, so you won't have to worry about filling up the group. This satsifying and tasty treat will go great with a Margarita or Sangria. It can be served at a Mexican themed party, rehearsal dinner, Superbowl night and more. Serve it on a cold night as an alternative to regular Chili or soup. Bundle up by the fire with a bowl. The whole family will love it...even the kids (use mild recipe for kids)!

Serves 6-8 people generously. Just double or triple the recipe for more!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Brown the ground beef with onions and drain
  2. To one large pot add ground beef and water
  3. Add black beans, pinto beans, kidney beans..DO NOT DRAIN!
  4. Then add tomatoes, Rotel, taco seasoning, ranch seasoning, corn and chili powder
  5. Bring to a boil while stiring and then turn down to low
  6. Cover and simmer for at least 1 hour (the longer the better)

Remember that in order to make the recipe milder for the kids, use the mild Rotel. If you want to have smoke billowing out of your ears, use the hot Rotel. Either way, you are gonna love it!

Refridgerate leftovers and heat and enjoy again the next day!
